Tamarindo Wildlife Refuge protects a large estuary, mangrove forest and tropical dry forest in an area covering almost 440 hectares. In the mangrove swamp there are six known species of mangroves. The animal life in this wetland is quite diverse and abundant. This mangrove is included on the Ramsar list of wetlands of international importance. This time an small and slightly boat takes you to the narrow canals observing on both sides at time. Will be able to observe closer rare and abundant wildlife – including dozens of bird species and two species of monkeys - while learning about the unique ecosystem of the mangrove forest. Duration:
