Tucked away in a 170 acre private reserve bordering Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica, Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge is the closest thing to a magical natural "Lost World"; in fact, local access is only possible by boat! There are no roads to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge. The adventure begins two hours before your arrival as the launch leaves from our reception center ¨La Hacienda¨ in Sierpe through the river and follow the Pacific coast.
Your accommodations at this ¨Lost World¨ are artfully-appointed individual bungalows offering unpretentious comfort, mosquito-netted beds, ceiling fans, tiled floors, ample storage including closet, lounge area, dry mini bar, safety deposit box, and hammock. Roomy private bathrooms have hot water showers and designer fixtures. As you stroll down the sidewalk, your eye can't help but be drawn to the beautiful stained glass in the door and wooden shutters in the windows handmade by Costa Rican artisans.

Guided by a naturalist through the trails of the park, you will enjoy an incredible
waterfall and picnic on one of the beautiful beaches of the National Park. Go to a wonderful swimming beach with a coral reef perfect for snorkeling. Picnic on the beach and then walk through the forest to a fresh water river for a refreshing swim. Diving on the southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica can be simply described as spectacular. Costa Rica Adventure Divers explores several sites around Caño Island. Protected as a biological reserve by the Costa Rican Government, the water surrounding the island is extremely pristine and teeming with life. We specialize in inshore fishing for roosterfish and in the teaming waters of Caño Island where grouper and giant cubera snapper can be found.Yellow-fin tuna, wahoo, dorado, and spanish mackerel are also commonly caught. Equipped with Pen International reels and customs rods our covered 22-foot twin outboard boats can offer a fantastic half-day or full day of fishing action. Casa Corcovado can also provide a 26-foot twin 150-hp boat for the who wish to try their luck further offshore. A guided tour through the Sierpe River its’ canals and the amazing mangroves searching for monkeys, snakes, crocodiles, anteaters and different varieties of birds.
This small lodge has one of the best accomodations in this very remote area and a very good location boardering the Corcovado National Park. This is a very good option for nature lovers. The area is unique and wild with lots of wildlife. The main attractions are the Caño Island and the Corcovado National Park. The hiking tours require good physical condition.
