First Day:

Our representative will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you to Costa
Rica and to take you to the Presidente Hotel. The rest of the day will be free
for you to explore San Jose on your own.
Your hotel is only a few blocks from the National Theater and Gold Museum. Overnight
at Hotel Presidente.

Second Day:

| |
Our tour guide will be picking you up at 7:30 a.m. for your tour to the Poas National
Park. You will have time to observe the huge crater and the hot sulphur lake of
this active volcano. Afterwards you can hike to the beautiful Botos lake surrounded
by a lush cloud forest vegetation. The drive will continue crossing the continental
divide passing impressive waterfalls until getting to the north Caribbean lowlands
where the Arenal Volcano is located. You will have time to enjoy the hot springs
and the Arenal Volcano by night. Overnight at Lavas
Tacotal.

Third Day:

You will have this day to explore the area. You can hike on the solidified lava
by the Arenal Volcano National Park,
visit the Fortuna Waterfall by horse, slide on a canopy tour and many others.
( Entrance fees not included ) Your tour guide will be with you to give you the
necessary recommendations. In the afternoon you can enjoy again the hot springs
and the Arenal Volcano activity. Overnight at Lavas Tacotal.

Fourth Day:

You have the morning free. In the afternoon you will drive through another interesting
route back to San Jose making a stop in the handicraft capital Sarchi. Overnight
at the Presidente Hotel.

Fifth Day:
|
| |
The bus of Mawamba will be picking you up at the given pick up time. The excursion
will take you by bus to the Caribbean lowlands stopping in Rio Danta for breakfast
and later, on a boat to Tortuguero. You will be staying at Mawamba Lodge. In the
afternoon your tour guide will be taking you to the Tortuguero town. Lunch, dinner
and overnight at Mawamba Lodge.

Sixth Day:

| |
You will have all day to explore the canals of the National Park on a small boat
searching for toucans, monkeys, caymans and sloths. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and
overnight at Mawamba Lodge. During the season ( from July to September ) you may
take the Turtle Nesting tour at night. ( Optional ).

Seventh Day:
|
| |
After breakfast you will drive back to Matina by boat. The Mawamba bus will be
stopping for lunch in Rio Danta before getting to San Jose. ( around 3:30 - 4:00
p.m. ) Optional: Aerial Tram Tour after
lunch in Rio Danta. Overnight in the Presidente Hotel.

Eighth Day:

| |
Transfer to the International Airport at the indicated time or prolongation of
the itinerary.
